The Fleetwood Area Food Pantry will be running the Christmas Cheer program this year to provide gifts for low income families with kids (16 years of age or under) living in the Fleetwood, Kutztown or Brandywine Heights school districts. Please pay attention to details that may be different from other years. You may send the Christmas Cheer form in to: FleetwoodChristmasCheer@gmail.com. We need these forms in October, the earlier, the better!
What do we need?
The proof part can be easy! If your child is in school, all we need is the proof that they get free or reduced lunches. That is it. That covers income, address, and the child.
If you don’t have that, we will need:
- Proof of your address, and your total household income (this includes income from all members of the household).
- In addition, provide proof of each child – showing their ID as well as proof that they attend school in our service area. By signing up for this program, you give us permission to check with the schools if necessary.
ALL PROOF IS DUE BEFORE DECEMBER 1st! If you turn in proof after this date, gift pickup will be December 21st. No exceptions.
Examples of documentation may include, but are not limited to: photo ID, paystubs, proof of residence (lease, utility bill or mail received from the school district or other government agency). Examples of documents needed for each child may include but are not limited to: birth certificate, official custody or guardianship papers, school records/report cards.
