Our 15th Annual Brake the Cycle bike ride was a tremendous success!
Nearly $13,000 was raised to support our efforts to reduce food insecurity and other household economic issues in rural Berks.
Save the date for August 9, 2025!
One of Berks County’s premier cycling events, Brake the Cycle of Poverty delivers a beautiful day through the rolling hills and scenic landscape across some of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful terrain. 62, 40, 25, and 10 miles routes offer something for everyone!
Launching from Rickenbach Learning Center, at Kutztown University, the benefit bicycle ride will be held rain or shine, with post-ride food, drinks and music by the Hannah Violet Trio.
Thank you to our 2024 sponsors, riders and their generous supporters.
